About

The Black Dog got its name in 1967 when a black lab-boxer mix boarded Douglas' very own ship. She was named The Black Dog after a character in Treasure Island. In January 1971, the captain opened an inn for sailors, and The Black Dog was a constant fixture.

The Challenge

Building an audience base, and connecting with current customers on a different level. As a well known and local brand.

Results

Through creating a successful social media strategy & ambassador programs along with celebrity endorsement partnerships, I was able to grow The Black Dog from 7,000 followers to 34,000 in under two years.

Strategy

The Black Dog was known for its in-person interactions and experience in stores. I set out to create the same type of feeling online and embody a unique, fun, and interactive presence with our audience, specifically dog owners. Creating an ambassador program was a large part of my social media strategy and recruiting loyal customers who genuinely loved the brand, and would help us grow through their social media efforts. I began to manage four brand ambassador programs, totaling 80 people. The posts were interactive, entertaining, and inspiring to our followers. I let our followers into the behind-the-scenes of monthly shoots, office life, restaurant tasks, etc. The Black Dog was built on a personable and relatable aspect, and I wanted to take that into the social media realm & create a loyal and engaging customer base.

The Clam Man

The Clam Man is a local seafood company specializing in high end seafood, grocery, and restaurant delivery. In 1995, Sue and Matt moved back to their hometown of Falmouth on the shores of Vineyard Sound and opened up a retail and wholesale fish market that bore The Clam Man name. Today The Clam Man provides superb quality fish daily to over 60 restaurants on Cape Cod and “across the bridge” in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The retail store is open seven days a week, serving a wide variety of seafood to a loyal following of customers from Cape Cod, and to the swelling summer home and vacationing population

Results

Over the course of six months, we’ve attracted over 100,000 people to our social media with organic social media efforts.

Gaining 385 followers on Instagram and 640 new page likes on Facebook. By creating a consistent content schedule, providing customers value, & creating a social media plan that aligns with the business’ goals, The Clam Man is now a memorable and lasting brand.

Over the course of 3 months, we’ve received 7.5 Million plays, 11,000 followers gained, 63,600 likes, 942 comments, with a video going viral to over 6M Views.

Strategy

There was little to no social media presence and the content was not aligning with the high-quality products that White Lion Provides. We worked on a deep evaluation of customer personas & clientele in-store and online. Heavily focusing on website traffic, customer retention, and social media sales conversion. High-quality content was key in our strategy to attract a strong social media following that will stick around. Highlighting the benefits of healthy attainable desserts for those with food restrictions.

Results

In the last six months, White Lion Baking online store sessions have increased by 250% and sales increased by 25%

A loyal audience base has been built and we’ve been able to establish a trust factor with our followers. The versatility of White Lion Baking products will allow them to continue building a memorable and consistent brand.

C Salt is a small, elegant neighborhood restaurant, located in Falmouth Cape Cod, focused on globally inspired cuisine with seasonal American produce using classic French techniques.

Strategy

C Salt is a highly respectable restaurant that focuses on authentic, one-of-a-kind cuisine. The menu is constantly changing, and social strategy changes with it. I set out to create a curated feed that aligned with what the restaurant represents, the quality that the owner & chef brings daily, and portrays this restaurant in the way that customers see it. Real, authentic, genuine, one of a kind.

I began with an account revamp with an audit of all social media accounts. I was starting fresh with this account which made this fun and a challenge. The goal was to focus heavily on reels, storytelling, behind the scenes, and making each post interactive, entertaining, and inspiring to our followers. I let our followers into the behind-the-scenes of monthly shoots, office life, restaurant tasks, etc. People love C Salt for its authenticity and the fun change that the new owner brings.

The Challenge

Building an audience base with old and new customers. With a new chef & owner, there are things constantly changing and new and old customers are able to experience it inside the restaurant however there was little to no social media presence. I needed to work on establishing relationships, promoting new products, and interacting with customers

Results

Within a short three months, we have reached 75,000 people, gained 350 followers, hit the reel metrics we were aiming for (over 10K views) booked out the restaurant reservations, and created long-lasting impressions on new customers & followers.

Their goal for Snatched has always been to create a place where everyone feels good coming in and leaves feeling better.

The Challenge

With a high social media presence the challenge came from attracting new clients and keeping current clients engaged and creating a consistent posting schedule. Before my takeover the posts were sporadic, without real direction on what it is we want from our target audience. Ashley & her team are booked and busy and it was time to hadn't the reigns over in order to create a custom content strategy, one that frees up their time to focus all aspects on the business and their day to day efforts.

Strategy

I started with an audit and a social media revamp. We created new content, established a content calendar, came up with a strategy, and implemented KPIs. I began boosting the brand, eliminating ghost followers, working to boost the engagement rate, and establishing relationships with new and old followers. I focused heavily on reels and behind the scenes content. I wanted her pages to look professional, yet welcoming & fun.

Results

In the last three months, we were able to reach 50,734 people, engage with 1,930 new accounts, gain 367 followers, and curate an aesthetic feed to attract new customers. With a consistent posting schedule, reel management, and story engagement I’ve boosted her social accounts to create a strong foundation for a lifetime business.
